I get the message "Unknown sim serial number".
First double check the sim serial number you are typing is correct. If you still get the error please contact us with the sim serial number AND your Order Number / ID so can fix this issue.
Why my sim card is still not active?
Activations are proceed manually by a real person. Lyca Mobile and H2O sim cards may take up to 24 hours to be activated.
Lyca Mobile and H2O sim cards are activated between 17h00 to 05h00 (GMT+2 – Paris time).
AT&T and T-Mobile sim cards are activated between 07h00 to 00h00 (GMT+2 – Paris time).
Can I schedule the activation?
T-Mobile and AT&T sim cards can be scheduled for activation. You will be asked for your travel dates. The activation will be proceed a day before your departure date. We strongly suggest to schedule the activation at least 48 hours in advance.
Lyca Mobile and H2O sim cards cannot be scheduled for activation. It may take up to 24 hours to be activated.
When the validity of my sim card start?
The validity of the sim card starts immediately after receiving the confirmation of activation.
If you have a 30 days plan and if you submit the activation of the sim card on June 1st it will be valid until June 30th (23h59 GMT-5 – New-York time).
Note that if you schedule the activation with a departure date for June 2nd, your sim card will be activated on June 1st and valid until June 30th (23h59 GMT-5 – New-York time).
Why do you ask for the Zip code?
The US Zip code set your area code, the first three digits of your US phone number.
You can also leave this field empty if you don’t know it.
Note that your sim card will work everywhere there is coverage by the carrier.
Why do your ask for the IMEI and can I change it?
The IMEI (the serial number of your phone) is only required with T-Mobile and AT&T sim cards and this is for activation purposes only.
You can insert the sim card in any compatible device. There is no restriction.
Where can I see all the informations about my plan?
You can see your plan name on the last step of the activation form.
You will receive all the other informations about your plan by email upon activation of your sim card. Please check your spam folder as well.
