These restrictions are only put in place temporarily and to protect other users in your area.
SMS cannot be forwarded. This is a technical limitation. You must insert your original SIM card into a second phone to continue receiving SMS from your original number.
Yes, you can call and text with a US number. You can also use it with apps like Uber.
Note that you can keep your personal number when using apps like WhatsApp or Messenger. Your number doesn’t change unless you confirm it in the app.
All offers with calls & SMS are guaranteed to work in one smartphone only.

In terms of speed and coverage, T-Mobile and AT&T are nearly identical.
In some remote areas, one carrier may offer coverage while the other does not. It’s more important to know your phone’s compatibility, which can vary by carrier.

Regardless of the carrier, it is difficult to get good coverage in parks and deserts due to the lack of antennas in these areas. It is important that you are prepared for no signal at all.
